School of Artificial Intelligence

The School of Artificial Intelligence at Guangxi Vocational and Technical College offers seven majors: Modern Communication Technology, Applied Electronic Technology, Drone Application Technology, Computer Network Technology, Software Technology, Computer Application Technology, and Big Data Technology. The School of Artificial Intelligence has established an Artificial Intelligence Industry Institute, and the Big Data Technology professional group has been approved for the construction of a high-level professional group by Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. With approximately 3,600 faculty members and students, School of Artificial Intelligence is characterized by its commitment to serving society and cultivating the "digital craftsman" spirit.

The School of Artificial Intelligence possesses a teaching and service team composed of senior title teachers, high professional skill level teachers, and part-time teachers from industry and enterprises, including PhDs, teachers honored with National Technical Experts, Guangxi Craftsmen, and Guangxi Technical Experts. The team undertakes multiple national and regional scientific research and key research projects, and participates in the revision of national vocational skill standards.

The School of Artificial Intelligence continuously deepens the integration of industry and education, as well as the integration of science and education, enhancing the content of the integration of Post-Course-Competition-Certificate and education. It has developed professional teaching resource libraries, high-quality courses, and exemplary courses in ideological and political education at a autonomous-region-level. The school has received several awards of national teaching reform cases and regional awards of teaching achievement, and it serves as a regional base for cybersecurity talent training and a provincial-level high-skilled talent training base.

In 2023, students won 73 national and regional awards in skills competitions. The number of student admissions and registration rates reached new highs, and the employment rate and job-matching rate of graduates surpassed the regional average, earning widespread acclaim from employers for the talents provided.
